A Farewell

Sometimes I doubt If I have taken the right decision 

To succumb to the anxiety, wandering mind, the confusion, and hard cries..

The day doesn't end without the snippet of a moment, nowadays

A smile, the eyes of a life lived, gratitude,

A thought, a doubt, a scene

Stillness, momentary clarity

The past, the pain, the hurt

Or a heart so filled with emotions, heavy,

Even lighter than a feather..

A breath, a deep breath,

Remembrance of a dear face

Glimpse of an unspoken word

This is a memoir

For all that crosses my heart

For all that has passed..

A farewell to the known life

A welcome for me, the unknown.
